Obituary for Alfreda A. Keller (1929-2021)
Alfreda “Frieda” A. Keller, age 92, of Zieglersville and formerly of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Born in Conshohocken, Alfreda was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (nee Krysztopik) Burzacki, the devoted wife of the late Stephen M. Keller, the loving mother of Paul (Patricia Gennaro) Keller of Allentown, Stephen (Karen) Keller of Chincoteague, VA, Diane (Richard) Gorrell of Royersford and David (Beth) Keller of Newtown, the beloved grandmother of Rachel Gorrell, Rick Gorrell, Samuel Keller, Kate Keller, Matthew Frias and Daniel Frias and the adoring great-grandmother of Phillip Haines, Nick Opperman, Camron Frias and Brandon Frias. In addition, “Aunt Fridge” as she was known, is survived by her many cherished nieces and nephews. Sadly, Frieda was predeceased by her siblings, Walter, Joseph, Frank and Edmond Burzacki, Jean Souch and Pauline Stypinski.
Mrs. Keller was a graduate of Conshohocken High School and worked for over 25 years for Lees Carpets, now known as Burlington Industries, as a data entry supervisor until her retirement in 1989. She was a devout member of Our Mother of Sorrows Church and could frequently be found at the Bridgeport Senior Center. Frieda, who was a prolific reader, enjoyed polka dancing with her husband, going to the casino, painting landscapes and nature scenes, sewing, baking, cooking and canning and being with her loving family at their picnics.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, April 6, starting at 10 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass, starting at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473. The live stream link for Alfreda Keller's funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 6th at 11am is https://www.facebook.com/SaintMarySchwenksville Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
