Andrew M. Toth of Pottstown, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was 73 years old. Born on March 12, 1950, he was the son of the late Andrew J. Toth and Helen (nee Wolfrom) Toth. Andrew is survived by his loving partner of 31 years, Mary Ellen Manze; one brother, Eugene Toth (Peggy); sons Andrew J. Toth (Erin), and Clint “Spike” Toth (Shannon), and daughter, Deborah (nee Manze) Sanford; grandchildren Arden Sanford Worbington (Joshua), Colin Sanford, Jordan Toth, Chase Toth, Cole Toth, and Alexa Toth; and one great-grandson, Kestin Worbington. He was predeceased by one son-in-law, Mark Sanford.
Andrew grew up in Swedeland, where he was known to many as “Chalie.” Andy lived life to the fullest and was an avid Harley rider, owning many Harley Davidson motorcycles throughout the years. He loved smoking cigars, deer hunting, target shooting, and tending to his vegetable garden, but his greatest joy and source of pride were his children and grandchildren, who affectionally called him, Poppy. He was a lifetime member of Swedeland Fire Company Social Club, and a member of Swedesburg Fire Company Social Club, and Pikeville Gun Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to The Bernard S. Gutkowski Funeral Home, 305 Jefferson Street, Swedesburg, PA 19405, Keith J. Murphy, F.D., 610-275-6385, www.gutkowskifuneralhome.com, on Saturday, May 20, where Andrew’s viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
