Obituary for Ann B. Malanowski (1922-2020)
Ann B. Malanowski, age 97, of Trooper, passed away very peacefully at home on Friday, May 1, 2020, surrounded by loving family members. Born in Swedesburg, Mrs. Malanowski was the daughter of the late Maryian Bazela and the late Mary (nee Kowalski) Bazela, the devoted wife of the late Charles Malanowski, the beloved mother of the late Annette M. Malanowski, Dorothy M. (Robert) Brady of Skippack and Cheryl M. (Bruce) Champagne of Trooper, the proud Grandmother of Dawn (Mark) Brady Antonio, David C. Brady, Cristen N. Champagne, Jason B. Champagne and Andrew C. Champagne and the adoring Great-Grandmother of Brady, Charles, Evan, Nathaniel, Jack, Layla and Daisy and the cherished sister of the late Joseph Bazela, Laura Woyden, John Bazela, Josephine Wietecha and Francis Bazela.
Ann attended Upper Merion High School and worked as a secretary for her husband’s business, Suburban Wear Coat Factory. She had also worked at Bankers Tavern, C & D Batteries and Unisys. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting and knitting, but was happiest while spending time with her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
Ann was a long-time devout member of St. Philip Neri Parish and, due to current conditions, will have a private Funeral Mass there.
