Obituary for Anna F. Cheipesh (1935-2024)
Anna Fedorovna Cheipesh, age 89, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, with loving family at her bedside. Born in Korolevo, Ukraine, Anna was the daughter of the late Fedor Chernyanchuk and the late Marta (Nee Uhas) Chernyanchuk, the devoted wife of the late Alexander Cheipesh, the loving mother of Lubov (William) Haney, Olga (Vasyli) Vuchkan and the late Alexander (Larisa) Cheipesh, the proud grandmother of Eugene Cheipesh, Karlo Fanchiki, Svetlana Stasuk, Olga Vuchkan and Erika Pasternak and the adoring great-grandmother of her 7 great-grandchildren. Anna was one of 11 children and sadly she is only survived by a sister, Yolana Rishko.
Anna was educated in Ukraine and worked for a pre-school day care center as a teacher’s assistant. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and gardening. She could often be heard joyfully singing as she performed these tasks! Anna was a Christian woman who loved to pray and sing to the Lord. Her quiet time was spent simply watching movies on television.
Relatives and friends are invited to SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA 19405, where Anna was a devout member, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, where her viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until her Divine Liturgy begins at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in SS. Pete & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. The family would appreciate Memorial Donations to SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church at the above address. Arrangements are by The Bernard S.
