Obituary for Anna Mae Daloisio (1931-2024)
Anna Mae Daloisio, age 92, of King of Prussia, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Born in Bridgeport, Anna Mae was the daughter of the late John Bucha and the late Anna (nee Adams) Bucha, the devoted wife, since 1952, of the late Ralph Daloisio, the beloved sister of her deceased siblings, Alfred Bucha, John “Jackie” Bucha, Edward Bucha, Josephine Husar, Mildred Fabrizio, Agnes Sprouse and Helen Burns and the proud aunt of her many nieces and nephews.
Anna Mae was a graduate of West Chester State Teachers College, earning her Bachelors degree in three years. She went on to have a fulfilling career as a kindergarten teacher in Lansdale for a few years and then in Phoenixville from 1963, for the next 35 years, until her retirement. Anna Mae was devoted to her faith, she was a long time and dedicated member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and their Sodality, until it closed and then became a member of Sacred Heart Church. At Mt. Carmel, Anna Mae worked their feast and helped out with the housekeeping in the Rectory. She was an avid reader and loved teaching children to read and write.
Relatives and Friends are invited to Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson Street, Swedesburg, PA 19405, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, where her family will greet guests from 9:30 a.m. until 10:20 a.m. and her Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
