Obituary for Anthony C. Scomo, Sr. (1953-2021)
Anthony C. “Chuckie” Scomo, Sr., age 68, of Swedesburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia. Born in Norristown, Mr. Scomo was the son of the late Charles Gus Scomo and the late Lena Angelo (Cianci) Scomo, the devoted husband, for over 36 years, of Joanne (Drevyanko) Scomo, the loving father of Anthony C. Scomo, Jr. and Reva Marie Theresa Scomo, the adoring grandfather of Rosalena, who was “Pop-Pops pride and joy”, and the brother of the late Donnie Scomo, Sal Scomo (Denise), Peggy Fuentes (Edwin) and Sandy Scomo. Anthony also leaves behind his brother-in-law Jim Tyler, sister-in-law Kathleen Tyler, his several nieces and nephews and he is together with “Charlie” now, and they are both at peace, and always looking over his family.
Anthony worked for many years for Altieri Aluminum & Vinyl Products, a siding contractor in Collegeville, doing siding and roofing work, until his health forced him to retire. He enjoyed cheering for the Eagles and Sixers, going to the Turf Club, watching WWE matches and recently began coin collecting. His real happiness was just spending time with his wife, children and granddaughter, and the company of “Charlie”.
