DANIEL KAHLEY Obituary

 

DANIEL E. KAHLEY, age 54 passed away suddenly on Monday, October 28th while vacationing in Cancun, Mexico with his wife (the love of his life) along with their best friends.

 

Born in Norristown on January 12, 1965. He is survived by his wife Dawn (DeWitt) Kahley; their daughter Kaitlyn Kahley and their son Daniel Kahley. His 2 Sisters Clare Ann Kahley and Laurie Kahley; he was preceded in death by his mother Clare Kershaw.

 

He was a graduate of Upper Merion High School, Class of 1983. Mr. Kahley, was retired from the Norristown State Hospital after 30 years. He was a life member of the Swedeland Vol. Fire Co. where he held multiple positions. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge #714 of Bridgeport, CBC Club of Conshohocken and a Social Member of The VFW of King of Prussia. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, an avid golfer and he would never miss any of his children's activities. Besides his many activities, Mr. Kahley made sure his family was 1st and foremost.

 

The viewing will be held Sunday, November 3rd 6-8 PM and Monday, November 4th 10-11 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. at Bernard S. Gutkowski Funeral Home, 305 Jefferson St. Swedesburg, Upper Merion Twp.

 

The Family requests memorial contributions be made to The American Heart Association, Penn Center House Inc., Philadelphia, Pa.
