Obituary for Diane K. Duda (1934-2024)

Diane K. Duda, age 89, of Limerick and formerly of King of Prussia, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2024, just days before her 90th birthday, at her daughter’s home in Gilbertsville, surrounded by loving family. Born in Ardmore, Diane was the daughter of the late Cecil Kearns and the late Ida (nee Cawley) Kearns, the devoted wife of over 60 years, of the late Richard R. “Dick” Duda, the loving mother of Robert (Christa) Duda and Patti (Ken) Grzywacz, the proud grandmother of Natalie (Luis) Sarmiento, Andy Grzywacz and Jill Grzywacz, the adoring great-grandmother of Ella Sarmiento and the beloved sister of the late Margaret (the late Richard) Powers and Loretta Wilkins.

Diane graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School, Diane married Richard in 1958. They started a family and Diane became a homemaker and raised their children. Once they were young adults, Diane went on to be a secretary for Montgomery County Intermediate Unit for over 20 years until she retired at age 55. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed talking to people, going shopping, taking annual trips to Florida and watching The Hallmark Channel, but mostly she enjoyed just hanging out with her family and friends.
