OBITUARY FOR DONALD CRAIG UNDERCUFFLER (1947 – 2022)
DONALD CRAIG UNDERCUFFLER, age 74, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2022. Born in Norristown, Donald was the beloved son of the late George Undercuffler and the late Mildred (nee Nailon) Undercuffler. The cherished brother of Bob (Linda Wadsworth) Undercuffler, Bruce (Linda) Undercuffler, Craig (Suzanne) Undercuffler and Gail (Lewis) Bleiman, the proud uncle of 9 nieces and nephews and the adoring great-uncle of his 18 great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a niece, the late Colby Undercuffler.
Donald, a former of St. Patrick’s Church of Norristown, attended Bishop Kenrick High School until senior year when he transferred to Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, graduating with the Class of 1965. He continued his education at Pierce Junior College and then Penn Morton College, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in the sales and marketing with the class of 1969. He worked in sales and marketing for some time in the computer parts field, but the majority of his career was spent in the advertising and marketing business.
Mr. Undercuffler was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Eagles Home Association. While he was in High School and in College, he played on the basketball teams, later in his life he enjoyed playing in various softball leagues in the area for many years. He enjoyed watching all sports, placing a few bets here and there, having a “wacker” or two and coming up with a nickname for everyone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the Norristown Maenner-Chor Club, 920 Haws Ave. Norristown, where friends will be received from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. A memorial service will begin at 12:30 with a luncheon to follow.
