Obituary for Filomena Manzo
Filomena Manzo, a longtime resident of Swedesburg, passed away peacefully on Friday April 22, 2022 in ProMedica of King of Prussia, at the age of 86.
Mrs. Manzo was born on December 27, 1935 in Concello DiAmonee, Italy and was the daughter of the late Antonio and Josephine (Romundo) Manzo and the widow of Francesco Manzo. She was a faithful member of Sacred heart Parish of Swedesburg where she attended Mass daily and religious devotions especially to the Blessed Mother and was a member of the Holy Rosary Society of the parish. Mrs. Manzo was a faithful and hard-working volunteer for both Our Lady of MT. Carmel Annual Feast in Bridgeport, and the Polish Festival of Sacred heart Parish in Swedesburg.
Surviving are 3 sons: Anthony Manzo, and his wife Kathleen, Achille Manzo, and Salvatore Manzo. Brother: A. Sal Manzo, and wife Elaine, Sister: Anna Salkowski, and her husband Butch, daughter in law Marie, wife of the late Enrico Manzo. 3 Grandchildren: Roger Manzo, and his wife Jennifer, Kathryn Manzo, and Jeffrey Manzo along with 3 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 10:30am in Sacred Heart Church, 102 Jefferson St., Swedesburg. Viewing will be on Thursday morning from 9:30am to 10:15am at the church.
