There are no words to express our broken hearts now that Gail Ellen Bornstein Ozorowski, age 57, is no longer with us. She passed suddenly and peacefully on Sunday, May 16 with her husband, George and daughter Kendall by her side.
Gail, aka Gailzee, was a kind and loving soul and she touched everyone she ever met. Her unassuming quiet demeanor was not a true reflection of her big heart and classy spirit. She had a way of making everyone around her feel special and loved. She routinely expressed her creative side and surprised loved ones with collages and scrapbooks commemorating lives well lived. Her creative side spilled over into fashion as well and she loved to get dressed up. She even got dressed to the nines to go food shopping! And of course she just loved tooling around in her white convertible. It brought her such joy to have the wind in her hair and her favorite music blasting.
Gail loved holidays and spent days decorating her home for every one of them. Her favorite vacation was on any Caribbean island vacation and over the years, she has enjoyed many. Gail loved her family and friends but she had a very special bond with her dogs. She called them her Pupperbies and had her own special language with them. She showered them with affection and they adored her.
She was a loving and proud momma to Kendall, wife to George, daughter to mom Judy and dad Alan, Snithster (her word for Sister) to Janice and Laurie, Aunt to Nate/Brianna/Bridget, and fur momma to many sheltie fur babies over the years. We will all miss her tremendously and will hold on to our memories of this special soul.
We will gather for a Celebration of Gail’s Life, date TBD.
