George is survived by his brother John (Dorothy) Strouse and his sister, Geraldine Moley, as well as his many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, but sadly was predeceased by his other siblings, the late Gerald Strouse, the late Catherine Ivey, the late Bernadette Catania, the late Mary Perry, the late Rosalee Partenheimer and the late Francino Capolingua.
Mr. Strouse was a graduate of West Catholic High School, Class of 1948. He then enlisted in The U.S. Navy, proudly serving our country from 1951 until he was Honorably Discharged in 1955. While in The Navy, George earned the rank of Engineman Second Class, sailed on The USS Richard E. Kraus (DD-849) and received The National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
