Helen Razin, age 85, of King of Prussia, PA, and formerly of Linden, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 27, 2023 at Anthology of King of Prussia, after a long illness. Born in Podhajce, Poland, Helen was the beloved daughter of the late Ludwig and Rozalia (nee Czarny) Jarosz, she immigrated to the United States in the mid 1950’s and was the loving wife of Thomas Razin, Sr., the loving Mother of Thomas (Ruth) Razin Jr., and Richard (Julia) Razin, the cherished grandmother of Alexander Razin, M.D, Lt. John Razin USAF, Lt. Luke Razin USAF, and Melissa Razin and the adoring great-grandmother of her great-grandson.
Helen was educated through high school in Northern New Jersey and was a long time member of St. Theresa’s Church in Linden, NJ. At St. Theresa’s, Helen loved her Catholic Community and volunteered in numerous activities to include The Polish Choir, Church food prep for the poor and The Polish American Society. She was never one to say no when it meant helping the less fortunate. She was a hard working woman, employed at Thomas and Betts, Loreal’, Schering Plough and finally Mercks in Kenilworth, NJ until her retirement in 2003. Her passions were socializing, shopping and cooking for her loving family and friends. There was hardly a night where friends didn’t visit and laugh the night away. She will certainly be missed!
