Obituary for James C. Palmer, Jr. (1961-2021)
James Clay Palmer, Jr., age 60, of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Einstein Montgomery Hospital. Born in San Diego, CA, James was the son of the late James C. Palmer, Sr. and the late Margaret (nee Smyth) Palmer, the devoted husband of Donna (nee Aquilante) Palmer since October 27, 1984, the loving father of Kelly (Ernest) Palmer, Erica (Benjamin) Palmer, Stephanie (Shawn) Miscioscia and James C. Palmer III, and the cherished brother of William J. (Anne) Palmer, Lawrence H. (Denise) Palmer, Timothy J. (Deborah) Palmer, Joseph A. Palmer, Jeffrey A. (Laurie) Palmer, Patricia E. (Jack) McKeever, Cynthia A. (John) Brock, Michele Teti, Margaret J. (Richard) Forster, Julia M. (Nicola) Molinaro and the late Maureen W. (Robert) Marinari. Sadly, James was eagerly anticipating the upcoming birth of his first grandchild, Maggie Marie Lebo in October.
Jim, a member of Sacred Heart Church, was educated at Bishop Kenrick High School and then Upper Merion High School. He was employed by Le Bus Bakery as a maintenance mechanic and spent his spare time with his dogs, Copper and Boomer, gaming and enjoying his model trains. He could be found most weekends at Jakes Flea Market searching for treasures.
