Jean Ann Imperial, age 77, formerly of Swedesburg, PA, daughter of the late John and Sophie (Kilian) Wrobel passed away peacefully Saturday May 29th at Einstein Hospital.
Jean enjoyed the simple things - watching her shows on television, reading The Times Herald newspaper and doing the daily crossword puzzle, crocheting, reading books, playing electronic games and spoiling her two great-grandchildren just as she did with her grandchildren when they were younger.
She loved animals and had many over the years, most recently her dog Spike. She enjoyed bird watching and regularly ordered bulk bags of bird seed to make sure they were fed, along with the deer and squirrels.
Jean was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School, class of 1961. She worked many years for the Upper Merion School District earlier in her life, and later worked as a secretary for several businesses in Bridgeport, PA before retiring from the Camelot Banquet Hall.
She is survived by her granddaughter Amanda Daddario, her husband Anthony and their two children Isla and Luca, who she lived with in Blue Bell. Also surviving her are her daughter Angela Smith (Greg), granddaughter Jessica Prostack, nephew Peter Paul (Sarah) and great nephew Oliver, nephew Joseph Paul and several cousins. Jean was preceded in death by her sister Lillian Paul, and by her former husband, Stephen Imperial.
