Obituary for John C. Davis (1952-2022)
John “Jack” C. Davis, age 69, of Worcester (formerly of Bridgeport and Plymouth Meeting), passed away peacefully on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Abington Lansdale Hospital. Born in Norristown, Jack was the son of the late Benjamin and the late Mary (nee Toth) Davis, the beloved brother of the late Benjamin Davis, the late James Davis and Mary Ellen Hitchens of Worcester, the cherished Uncle of Robert, David, Keith, the late Mark, Benjamin, Kenneth, Heather and the late James and the proud Great-Uncle of Matthew, Kaitlyn, William, Bailey, Sierra, Casey, Colton and Skye.
Mr. Davis was graduate of Upper Merion High School, Class of 1970, a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, played baseball in Bridgeport Little League in his younger days, and worked as a laborer at Alan Wood Steel for nearly 10 years, Acme Markets, and Duff Company. He enjoyed watching car races, cheering for the Eagles and Phillies.
Relatives and friends are invited to SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Avenue, Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, January 12, where Jack’s viewing will be held, from 10 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. followed by his Funeral Service, beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow the service in SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. The family would appreciate memorial donations to SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church at the above address. Arrangements are by The Bernard S.
