Obituary for Leslie R. Zadroga (1975-2021)

Leslie R. Zadroga, age 46, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 28, 2021, ending her 5 year long battle with cancer. Born in Norristown, Leslie was the beloved daughter of Michael F. (Lori Ann) Zadroga and the late Susan (nee Spera) Weinholtz, the devoted wife of John Newcomer, the loving mother of Julien Pounds, the cherished sister of Michael F. (Theresa) Zadroga, Jr., Derek (Ashley) Collins and Krysta Zadroga and the proud Aunt of Jessica Metzger, Mikey Zadroga, Nickolai Zadroga, Jacob Collins and Reid Collins and the adoring Great-aunt of Gianna Ulces.

Leslie was a graduate of Norristown High School, Class of 1993 and continued her education at Antonelli Institute of Graphic Art & Photography in Plymouth Meeting, earning her Associates Degree in 1995. She then went on to become a Behavioral Health Supervisor for Aetna and then CVS Health. Leslie was a member of Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed making jewelry, crocheting and arts and crafts. She  was known for her salt & paper shaker collection, her love of owl and frog paintings and sculptures, her fondness of movies and especially her enormous library of music.

Relatives and friends are invited to Leslie’s Memorial Mass on Saturday, November 6, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson Street, Swedesburg, Upper Merion Twp., PA 19405, where her family will greet guests from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
