Obituary for Margaret “Peggy” Gulotta (1939-2020)
Margaret “Peggy” Gulotta, age 80, of Norristown, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2020 at her daughter’s home in King of Prussia, PA, with loving family members at her bedside. Born in Norristown, Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret McGough. Vincent died early in her life and she was raised by her mother and her step-father, the late Edward Boyer. Margaret was the devoted wife of John C. Gulotta, who passed in 2015, since 1940 and the proud mother of John A. Gulotta (Lisa), Josie DiNolfi and Tina Gulotta , the adoring grandmother of Billy, John, Jocelyn, Jana, Crystal, Shana, Anthony, Charlie, Ryan and Andrew. In addition, she had 16 great-grandchildren and 3 siblings, her late brother “Junior” McGough, and sisters Marlene Salkowski and the late Joan Sabatino.
“Peggy” worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at Montgomery Hospital. Friends and family will remember her love of animals and Elvis music, dancing, a cold Pepsi and a burnt hot dog, playing bingo, card games and times at the casino and most of all, how much she adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing starting at 9:30 a.m. and funeral service starting at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 24, both at The Bernard S. Gutkowski Funeral Home, 305 Jefferson Street, Swedesburg, Upper Merion Twp., PA 19405, Keith J. Murphy, F.D., www.gutkowskifuneralhome.com. Interment will be at a later date in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. The family would appreciate memorial donations to SS.
