Obituary for Marianne Maiden (1939-2021)
Marianne Maiden, age 82, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norristown and raised in Bridgeport, Marianne was the daughter of the late Joseph Nawrocki and the late Laura (nee Zoltowski) Nawrocki and sister to the late Joseph Nawrocki Jr. and the late Michael Nawrocki. Marianne was a devoted wife to the late John Maiden, Sr. and beloved Mother to John, Jr. of Plattsburgh, NY, Kevin (Heather) of Pennsburg, Christopher (Jennifer) of Lansdale, Brian (Gina) of King of Prussia. Proud grandmother to Amber, Shane, Kyle, Nathan, Christopher, Ryan, Devon, Elizabeth, Victoria, Aaron, Bella and Aurelia.
Mrs. Maiden, a graduate of Bridgeport High School, was a long-time and devout member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church and worked for many years as a Secretary for several local doctors. She enjoyed going to the beach and the casinos but will mainly be remembered as a very unselfish woman with her time. She loved spending time with her cherished sons and grandchildren, spending hours on her cooking and baking for the holidays and especially her soups made from scratch.
Relatives and friends are invited to Marianne’s Memorial Mass on Friday, March 26, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462, where the family will greet guests from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate Memorial Donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 601 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are by The Bernard S.
