Obituary for Marissa E. Quinonez (1978-2022)

Marissa E. Quinonez, age 43, recently of Audubon, PA but formerly a long time resident of Long Island, NY, passed away suddenly on Saturday May 21, 2022 in Coatesville, PA. Born in Lewiston, NY, Marissa was the daughter and only child of Bertrand (Linda) Quirion of Prisque Isle, ME and Joanne (nee Costantino) Quirion of King of Prussia, PA and the loving mother of Sophia Schroeders of Spring City, PA. In addition, Marissa is survived by her daughter’s father, Dirk Schroeders of Spring City.

Marissa was a graduate of Oceanside Senior High School, studied Art Theory at Farmingdale State College, Veterinary Medicine at Suffolk County Community College and took a few college courses online. Her love of animals drew her to become a veterinary technician. She worked in veterinary medicine for the past 15 years in Long Island at Twins Veterinary and Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists of Farmingdale. She will surely be missed by all of her 4 legged friends that she cared for. She was a great drawer and painter who enjoyed working out, rowing, cycling, hiking and kayaking, as well as trips with Sophia to the Aquarium and zoo.
