Mary Ann Kardash, age 90, passed away peacefully, at Woodbridge Place in Phoenixville, Pa., on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Mrs. Kardash was a resident of Montgomery County. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukranian Catholic Church. Mary Ann worked as a mail sorter for Mailroom Systems, Inc. in Reading, PA.
Born in Norristown, PA on November 25, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Michael Suzanne and the late Mary (Kuhna) Suzanne. She was the sister of Joan Helenski of Collegeville, Pa., and the late Helen & Joseph Suzanne. She is also survived by her daughter, Deb Kardash and her nephew, Walter (Karen) Helenski and his children, Brian and Bridget. As a child, Mary Ann was a pianist and organist at Our Mother of Sorrows church, where she went to grade school and then she attended Upper Merion High School. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching television, especially detective and criminal shows as well day-time soaps, she loved animals and attended church faithfully. Mostly she was known as someone who was very well-liked and helpful to everyone she met.
Burial will be private at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, King of Prussia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Ann’s memory to SS.
