Obituary for Michael Raymond Kowalchuk, Jr., (1963-2022)
Michael Raymond Kowalchuk, Jr. a former resident of Ferdinand, IN and recently of Plymouth Meeting, age 59, passed away at home on Friday, July 8, 2022. Born in Chester, PA, Michael was the beloved son of Michael Raymond Kowalchuk, Sr. and Elizabeth (nee Collins) Kowalchuk, the loving father of Alexander (Kristen) Kowalchuk and the cherished brother of Paul (Debbie) Kowalchuk and Betsie (Lyle) Zuck.
Michael was a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Class of 1981 and went on to have a long career as a technical writer. He worked for Telefactor Robotics for close to 10 years and then was with Jasper Engines & Transmissions until recently. He loved electronics of all kinds, including Ham radios, 70’s rock music, especially Pink Floyd and The Beatles, had a passion for white roses and had an affinity for classic cars, especially GM cars. Many will remember Michael as being a funny guy with a dark sense of humor, him being a space and weather buff or just know him by his ham radio call sign “KA3CBX”. He will surely be missed!
At his family’s request, private services will be held. The family would appreciate Memorial Donations to The Franklin Institute (https:/www.fi.edu/support/individual-giving-membership). Arrangements are by The Bernard S. Gutkowski Funeral Home, Swedesburg, Upper Merion Twp., PA, Keith J. Murphy, F.D., 610-275-6385, www.gutkowskifuneral home.com
