Obituary for Monica E. Aquilante (1931-2022)

Monica E. Aquilante, age 91, a long time resident of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 17, 2022 at The Landing of Collegeville, where she had been living recently. Monica was the daughter of the late John Venonsky and the late Mary Remar Venonsky, the devoted wife, since 1999, of the late Louis T. Aquilante, who passed in 2018 and also was formerly married to William O’Donnell, the adoring and loving mother of Timothy J. O’Donnell, the proud grandmother of Timothy John (TJ) O’Donnell (Jada), the beloved sister of Elizabeth Lupo, Florence Brady and the late Frank, Michael, John, Brother Joseph, Theresa Venonsky and Rosemary Blischok and the cherished step-mother of MaryLou Babiak (Steve) and Donna Palmer (the late James) as well as her many loved nieces and nephews.

Monica was a graduate of St. Matthew’s High School in Conshohocken and was employed by the Postal Service for 40 years, until her retirement in 1999. She was a long time and devout member of Our Mother of Sorrows Church and is currently a member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, going on church trips to Cape Cod, Nantucket and North Carolina and baking cakes, pies, nut rolls and pizzelles with her husband Lou.

Relatives and Friends are invited on Saturday, June 25 to Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson Street, Swedesburg, PA 19405, where Monica’s viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
