Obituary for Patrick F. McDevitt (1965-2021)

Partick "Pat" F. McDevitt, age 56, of Pottstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Philadelphia, Patrick was predeceased by his father, the late John J. McDevitt, but is survived by his mother, Margaret (nee Markward) McDevitt, his loving wife, Anna (nee Duhrkoff) McDevitt, their cherished daughters, Brianna McDevitt and Keira McDevitt, his siblings, John J. McDevitt, Michael McDevitt, and Catherine McDevitt, as well as his nieces and nephews.

Pat was a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, where he played football & baseball, but particularly loved baseball. After furthering his education at Delaware Valley University, Pat pursued a career in sales, working for various companies including PageNet and Canon, inc. while later working for Giant Foods. Pat was a family-oriented man who loved cooking, studying history and had an affinity for trivia facts; he was known by many as the "king of useless knowledge," which was also the name of his trivia night business that he would host at local bars and restaurants.
