Obituary for Rita (Casmay) Kowalczuk
Rita (Casmay) Kowalczuk, a resident of Trooper, passed away peacefully on Sunday morming, May 28th at here residence with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Kowalczuk was born in Phoenixville and was the daughter of the late Michael and Frances (Karmazinski) Casmay and the loving wife of the late Walter Kowalczuk.
She was a faithful member of Visitation B.V.M. Roman Catholic Church of Trooper. She was employed as a kitchen worker for Visitation Elementary School for many years. She was a member of the Women’s Guild of the Church. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid Phillies fan. Most of all Rita enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters: Chrisann Cametti, and her husband Charles, Michelle McKeever, and her husband John and a Son: Thomas Kowalczuk, and his wife Charisse. 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Kowalczuk was preceded in death by a daughter: Carol Tyler and 2 Brothers: Thomas Casmay and Freddie Casmay.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Tuesday morning, June 6th, form 9:30 to 10:15 A.M. at Visitation B.V.M. Church (Upper Church), Trooper Rd. Funeral Mass will commence at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Norriton Twp.
