The Bernard S. Gutkowski Funeral Home was established in 1941 by the late Bernard S. Gutkowski, Sr. & Pauline H. Gutkowski. The Funeral home, which has been operated by Bernard S. Gutkowski, Jr., a fourth generation Funeral Director, and assisted by wife Jacqueline A. Gutkowski and brother Walter B. Gutkowski, is the first and only Funeral Home in Upper Merion township and has been serving the Swedesburg, Bridgeport, King of Prussia, Norristown and surrounding areas for over 70 years with professionalism, compassion, dignity and affordable prices.

In 2013 Bernard turned over the day to day operation of the funeral home to his longtime assistant Keith J Murphy. Keith has been with the funeral home for 20 years and has been a licensed funeral director since 1984.
